Our finale on Lana’i, our own secluded island off Maui gave us all a deep sense of wonder, awe, and spaciousness. UnBelizeable! Touring ancient Maya temples, floating down rainforest rivers to beautiful waterfalls, swimming underground caves, so much to experience in Belize!

Our first stop, Coppola’s Blancaneaux Lodge, a 20-room luxury hideaway in the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve on 70 acres of garden, stables, hiking trails, on the banks of the Privassion Creek.

Very happy in our 1,600 sq ft thatched roof villa with open-air living room & kitchen overlooking the river and jungle canopy (no A/C needed)! Daily experiences including sunrise guided birding, river tubing, garden tours, sunset horseback & bike riding, with nearby caves, zip lining, and spectacular Mayan sites. We’ll be back!

Next was Ambergris Caye, Belize’s largest island. Enjoyed seeing friends and swimming with sharks, sting rays, schools of fish, & turtles at the world’s 2nd largest reef!

Our last stop at our (almost) private island off of St. John, Lovango Bay, where you can spend the day, dine at sunset, and/or stay longer in the villa or your own treehouse. A fun ride and a sweet finale to an amazing family getaway! â¤ï¸ðŸ

Experiencing Alaska with Uncruise immersed us in the wilderness – kayaking, paddle boarding, skiff-ing off the ship with guide-led adventures onshore, as well as relaxing time in the hot tub, reading, and hanging out with our new on-board family. All is included, along with gourmet dining and drinks, evening programs, and exceptional service.

Our adventure continued aboard the Alaska Gold Star Dome Train from Anchorage to to Denali National Park, where we further explored the wilderness wonderland with grizzly bears, caribou, and wolf spottings and breathtaking beauty. Our ideal introduction to the wilds of Alaska, we’ll definitely be back to Alaska for another big family adventure!

Finding joy in a place close to our hearts, and grateful Riviera Maya is staying safe, WTTC #safetravels approved and in yellow, and impressed by the serious protocols every step of the way. Hotel Xcaret & Grand Velas ensured we always felt safe, entertained, and very relaxed on our trip there in July. Belmond Maroma and Palmaia hosted us for Thanksgiving, as we focused on family wellness and our many blessings. Special getaways this season we will long remember!

We had the beach almost to ourselves and the waves, sand, and pool gave us all the amazing fun in the sun and relaxing escape we all needed! The staff was also very safe with masks and strict cleaning of the units and all of the public areas. We decided to order in from our favorite local restaurants, including Mama Teresa’s and Shrimp & Stuff. We came back relaxed and renewed and look forward to going back before the end summer!
